In his reply, the Xing said that this sentiment wOuld find a ready echo in Britain, and that it would be his con- j stant endeavour to maintain and de- j velop friendly relations between the i two countries in every way within his power. Prince Chichibu also presented to the Queen the Order of the Precious Crown, first class.
