Last evening at the Waratah tearooms, a most enjoyab]© "500" card party was held. Tliere was a very large crowd preserit, including several visitors from Hastings and the surrounding districts. The winners of the tourney were : — Ladies, Mrs Merritt 1, Mrs G. Smitli 2, Mrs Rule, consolation. Gentlemen, Mr. Horton 1, Mr Manning 2, Mr Scott consolation.
