Profit of £80,000

WELLINGTON, This Day. J. E. MeKenzie's Stores, Ltd., Wellington, report a net profit for the year of £80,005 19/-, whieh, with the balanee from 1936, giyes £126,037 7/8 avaxlabie for distribution. The directors recommend a divldend at tbe rate of 17i per cent. on the paidup capital which at present stands at £400.000. This will be payable en June 8, absorbing £70,000 and leaving £56,037 7/8 to be carried forward. The company now operates 26 stores throughout New Zealand.
