Miss Joan Robertson, of Hastings, is spending a fortnight's holiday with her aunt, Mrs Connolly, Mount Eden. Auckland. • Mr and Mrs W. White, who have been in Hastings for tlie Jubilee celebrations, returned to-day to their home in Masterton. Miss Pauline Palmer is spending a week of the XJniversity vacation with her parents, Mr and Mrs S. M. Palmer, Te Aratipi, Havelock North, and will also stay in Wellington before returning to Christchurch. Mr Reg Humphries and Miss Cara Humphries, son and d.aughter of Mr Herbert Humphries, of Napier, left yesterday for Wellington, where they embark en route for a holiday visit to the Far East. Miss Muriel Baddiley left Hastings yesterday to commence her training at the Cook Hospital, Gisborne. She was accompanied by her mother and Mr H. Tweedie.
