Hawke's Bay Nominations The Hawke's Bay hockey selector, Mr R. J. Surgenor, has nominated the following players from Hawke's Bay as members of the New Zealand team„ Which will this year tour Australia:— Forwards: J. McNab (United, Hastings)^. McCutcheon (Kiwi, Napier), Tau Hemapo (Huia, Hastings). . Full-baek: A. Mahoney, United, Hastings). Commenting on the Tecent game betweOn Hawke 's Bay and Wellington, a Southern writer remarked: "The outstanding featixre of the game was the display of the two visiting full-baeks, A. Mahoiiey, at right full-back, was the brains of the Hawke's Bay team, and. at times he seemed to have the ball ahd the field All to himself."
