TWO INJURED

Cars CoIIide in Hastings Two people were slightly injured as the result of a collision "between two motor-cars at the intersection of Willowpark road and Heretaunga street, Hastings, shortly after three o 'clock yesterdav afternoon. One of the cars was being driven by Mr. Norman Walker, of Hastings, and accompattying him was his wife, daughter, Miss Olive Walker, and Mr. F. Gradwell, .of Taupo. Mrs. Walker suffered the greatest injury, three Tibs being fractured, and she was removed to her home where she received medical attention. Mr. Gradwell suffered cuts about the face and head, but none was Berious. The remainder oi the party escaped injury other than a severe shaking and a little shock. The driver of the second vehicle was Mr. Matthew Ferrick, of Waioni Station, near Dannevirke. He was accompanied by his wif e, but neither was injured.
