Power Board Chairman Congratulated
WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Congratulations on the optimistie note of his annual report were extended lo the chairman of the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board, Mr A. C. Russell, by board members at the annual general meeting yesterday. It was said of him that every time he made a report, it was an encouraging one for members and consumers alike. "The figures of the past year give me very much satisfaction indeed. W« anticipated a loss of about £400, whereas we actually shOwecl a prolit of £1923," said Mr Russell . Mr J. A. Witherow expressed pleasure in the fact that Mr Russell 's reports were always optimistic and encouraging ones.
