WELLINGTON, Last Night. Concern at the. present-day teudency of farmers' sons to drift to the towns because there are no prospects of their being able to settle on farms oi their own was expressed by-several delegates at a meeting of the Dominion executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union to-day. It was felt the Government should assist financially so that these trained and exporienced young farmers could obtain land of their own, thus remaining in the industry in which they had been trained. Several speakers stated that, due to the depression, farmers had no spare capital with which to give their boys a start on farms of their own, and in many cascs there was lijttle pfospect of their being able to-do so in tho near future. m
