SHIPPING MISHAP Wrecked Near Sydney In Thick Fog TWO OF CREW DIE

(Received 14, 11.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 13. One man was drowned and another died from a beaxt attack wben tbe collier Minmi (1455 tpns) struck tbe rocks off Cape B'anks at tbe entrance to Botany Bay late last night, while groping her way through tbick fog and heavy sea. Sixteen of tbe crew got safely asbore by a life-line burled to tbe ebip by tbe Garrison gunners after many attempts bad been made. A fireman named Burnside was , drowned when be lost bis grip on tbe line, while a cook named Boulton diied soon after tbe vessel struck tbe rocks, and bis body is still on tbe ship. After sixteen of tbe crew bad been rescued, the collier, witb seven men still aboard, broke in tbe middle, but early tbis morning another line was fired to tie vessel and a further four men were rescued. Tbe tbree remaining members of tbe crew were hauled asbore at four o 'clock tbis morning by means of a bosun's ebair. An bour later tbe Minmi, broken badly, was tilting alarmingly.
