HAMILTON, Last Night.
Advice that the Cabinet has approved of a grant for a new cectral police station in Hamilton has been received by Mr. G. A. Barreil, M.P., froffl the Hon. P. Eraser, aeting-Prini® Minister. Eor some time negotiptions have been in train for the purehase of a site at tbe n.orthem end of the town, aiid this site has now been decided tipon. The present station in Brldge etreet was built in 1915, and is inadquatO. "There is every ' indication that Hamilton will be the largest inland city in New Zealand, and we must make provision for the £ uture, ' ' said Mr Barreil to-^day.
