(By Teleutapb-

Cppyrisht.)

(Received 13, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 12. Tired but happy at having had the opportunity to be present at the greatest speetacle in a lifetime, tbo New Zealand Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, did not return to the Savoy until 4.30 p.m. He was still wearing the picturesque Windsor unifqrm which he donned at 7.30 a.m. in order t° arrive at Buckingham Palacp , bj the set ^Lve of 9 a m.

0 Like Mr MacKenzie King, the Canadian Prime Minister, who is also a baohelor, Mr Savage rode in a carriage in lonely state. Mr Savage said to a representative of the Australian Associated Press : "Well, if I had had a wife, of course she wonld have been with me. I did fqel the need of companionship. I wish that I had had Mr Nash or Mr Jordan : with me; bnt it. was a wonderful display. "The scene at the Abbey was magnificent, For such an iniemnse display to go off without a bitch is a tribute tp the organising ability of the English. It was just like one piece of machinery running smoothly and efficiently. "I was unable, unfortunately, to pick out any New Zealand cries and greetings., from the millions of spectators because the noise was so terrific. I have eertainly got sometliing to rememher for years to eouie 1
