Meeting at Takapau

TAKAPAU, Tlus JJay. The annual general meeting of the sub-branch Takapau Plunket Society ! was held at the Plunket rooms on Monday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members, Mr J. Caughley presiding in. the absence of the chairman of the Advisory Board, Mr N. M. Paulsen. The report and balance-sheet for the past year were read, the latter showing that the sub-branchi was in a good hnancial position. A very cordial vote of thanks was accorded to the outgoing committee for the escellent manner in which the ser-,-ice had been carried on during the past year, the executive officers of the t.ranch being specially mentioned. The following office bearers were elecced: President, Mrs N. M. Paulsen; /ice-presidents, Mesdames H. Blath.vayt, J. Caughley, W. J. Craig and T. ^ower ; general committee, Mesdames iT. de Stacpoole, C. J. Rolleston, H. -cott, T. Clayton, C. Olsen, M. Tiffen, Ar. Waldin, N. Tilley, T. Prescott, L. uooch; honorary secretary and treasuror, Miss Gamble; Advisory Board (re- ; elected), Messrs N. M. Paulsen (chairman), "VV. Cuthbertson, R. A. Fraser, J. Maudsley, J. Caughley, Q. H. Bjorngaard and Dr Coutts.
