THE BUS STRIKE
Fears That Stoppage Will Extend (Received 12, 8.45 am..y LONDON, May 11. The busmen's decision to continue the strike was forecast by the arrival of the delegates at Transport House preceded by a anofcor car canying a dustbin filled with rotten cabbages aud Waste paper, inscribed "The Transport Board 's Proposals." Intorest is now' coneontrated on whether the stoppage will extend. It is explained that a lightning strike would be opposed to union rales and existing agreements, but it is feared the trolly buses, trams and tubes will stop on the grounds that it is im* possible physically to carry on with the tremendous Coronation traffic. There is also a danger that ruburban electric rail services will be affectcd.
