At tke Home Nursing class of the Waipukurau branck of tke New Zealand Bed Oross Society, keld on Monday evening, opportunity was taken to farewell Mrs L. Matkie, oue of tke foundatson members, wko, witk ker kusband, is leaving Waipukurau' to reside at Frankton Junction. Tke president, Mrs E. J. Turner, in presenting Mrs Matkie witk a handsomo vase, . expressed regret at ker departure .and wished ker every success and kappincss in tko future. An amusing competition was won by Miss E. Paget, followed by supper.
