Final Contest for John Ormond Cup
Despite difficult weather conditions a high standard of shooting was maintained on the Takapau range during the week-end when members of tfie Waipukurau and Takapau Defence Rifle Clubs field tfie final contest for tfie Jofin Ormond Cup. The donor took the opportunity of addressing riflemen on the sport of shooting, and in presenting the cup wisfied botfi clubs tfie best of luck. Takapau won the tropfiy by 23 points. Results were as follow: —
