Nuhaka 14; Waipapa 3. Eeferee, Mr. McDonald Hikurangi beat Pirates 14— -13. Mr. Ellis was tfie referee. Whakaki 16, Mafiia 3. Tfiis game was played at Wfiakaki and was won by Whakaki, Tfie referee was Mr C. Mackay. JUNIORS, •" Waiau 22 beat, Pirates niL Tfiis game was a great surprise for most people as Pirates are looked upon. as fiaving a good team by their club. Waiau 's best man was Jeiikins, wfio (scored 33 points of tfie 22. In the forwards Brownlie, Mayo and Goodley were again very prominent right ihiougfi. For Pirates J. Renouf was easily tfie best man in tfie team, Eeferee, Mr. B. Parkinson. Takutai-Moana beat Waipapa by 10 points to 8. Mr. J. Knocks refereed. THIRD GRADE. Higfi School 16, Old Boys 8. Tfiis game 'was very even. Mr. R. Vallance rei'ereed. ,
