Club Holds Closing Day WAIPUKUBAU, Tfiis Day. The ofl&eial closing day of tfie Waipukurau -Croquet Glub was field on Saturday afternoon, wfien a fair number of players participated in a progressive tournament. Tfie winners were Mrs L. Hawke and Miss Main. A presentation was made by members to Mrs Ricketts, snr., in recognition of fier capable management of tfie clu^'s tournament. Tropfiies won during tfie season were presented by Mrs Bdcketts as follow:— • Championship singles, B grade, Miss N. Main; fiandieap singles, Miss N. Main; open doubles, Mrs Ricketts and Miss Maia; fiandieap doubles, Mesdames Webb and J. Hindman; B grade, Mesdames Brasell and Townsend; holders of tfie vases: A grade, Mesdames T. Given and W. G. Bryce; B grade, Mesdames J". Hindman and Webb.
