Insurgents Claim Capture of Mount Sollube 193 DEAD IN BARCELONA
(Eeceived 10, 11.30 a.m.) VITTOEIA, May 9. The insurgents claim tnat they have occupied important positione on Mouat Sollube, the key-point of the Basque I defences in the neighbourhood of BerI meo. * A Barcelona message says that 193 people are lying dead in mortuaries as a result of ,fighting and 343 wounded are in hospitals. At Toulouse, 29 Americana who were arrested on March 3, charged with attempting to enter Spain to join the Government forces, were sentenced to 40 days ' imprisonment. The ground at the fortress of Gibraltar "Is* so overcrowded that military movements are. impeded and 2000 Spanieh refugees 'have been ordered to leave Gibraltar by May 13. They will be transported by warship to a port under the eontrol of the Spanish Government.
