A letter was recoived from tfie secretary, Hawke's Bay Education Board, stating that tfie Education De* partment fiad been approacfied for a grant for Ijuilding a necessary fuel shed at tho scfiool. It was decided to ask the board 's arcliiteet to renovate tfie sparo' room. Tfie headmaster, Mr. J. F. Bel| reported a roll number of 71 pupils. Since tfie scfiool reopened attendance had been poor. Tfie floor of tfie senio room was to b® rcnewed during tfie fiolida^-a.
