' HASTINGS SECTION Celtic (24) defeated Havelock North (nil). — The scorers were Masters (three tries), Begley (two tries), McCarthy (try), Maggin (two conversions) and Tutaki (one conversion). Hastings H.S.O.B. (39) defeated Hastings (5). — The principal scorers were Norton, Waymouth (two tries each), Beech, Vaughan, Gadd, Kirhf ley, Kemp ahd Natusch for Old Boys, and Chadwick (try and conversion) for Hastings. Haumoana (18) defeated M.A.O. (nil) — The scorers were Thompson (try and two penalty goals), Ross (two tries). and McCormick (try).
