Acrosd the top Colleen Gain stiR held gway from Jazz Boy, Quake, Mohua, Helios, - Top Hqt and Fpssieker, the latter going back after the field took their running po!sitions. There Was very. little alteration in the next tma ' fatlongs, and turning fpr home CpUeen paiu was still there from Mohua, Jazz Roy and Quake. With the winning Post in gight Jazz Boy challenged Colleen Gain, and in a hard finish uolleett Gain wpnt down by a shprt npck, while Gironde, who was about seventh comiag into the straight, got up to beat Top Hat on the post for third money.
