Miss Muriel J. Lindsay, B.A., has been appoihted secondary assistant at the Waipukurau District High School. The appointment was approved by the school committee at its meeting last night. Miss G. Hole's services during her stay at the Waipukurau High School wero spoken of highly at the school committee's meeting last evening. The secretary was instructed to write expressing the committee's gnatitude to Miss Hole. Mr and Mrs A. G. Fredericksen, Norsewood, have left to take up residence at Raetihi. Mrs C. Fredericksen aecompanied them, and will spend some time visiting members of her family at Raetihi. Mr and Mrs L. A. Fredericksen, recently of Dannevirke, have taken up residence in Norsewood. Mrs E. E. White and Miss Colridge, of Takapau, left at tho beginning of the week on an extended trip to England.
