DUNEDIN, Last Night.., In the Supreme Court to-day, Etfiel May Fox was indicted on three charges of using as instrument to procure miscarriage. She was also charged with disposing of the dead body of a child witfi intent to* conceal its birtb. Aecused pleaded not guilty to all charges. ■ Detective-Sergeant Hail, in evidence, detailed his search of aecused 's house. There was evidence, he said, that a girl living tkere had given birth of an eight-months-old child* Witness found bones and ashea in the copper, but these could not be identified as human, aud no human remains had been found near the house. • Mr Justice Kennedy, in traversing the evidence, said it was competent for tbe jury to act on the evidence of an accomplice, but he warned them of the dauger that might arise in such a course.
