COLLISION AT CORNER

Hastings Man Suffers Severe Injuries CAR AND HORSE FLOAT Orushed in the front seat of a car which collided with a horse float last qvening, Mr. Epaninondas Laredo, of Hastings, was admitted tO the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital suffering from a dislocated hip and lacerations of the knee. His condition this morning was reported as only fair, and it is feared that chest injuries may have resqlted. A qar in which Mr. Laredp was a passenger, driven by Mr. Walter Young, pf Bpatty street, Hastings, collided with the back of a horse-fioat about 5.45 o 'clock last evening. Mr. Laredo was dmitted to hospital with a dislocated hip and lacerations of the knee. The accident occurred. in Karamu * road just past the intersection of St". Aubyn street. Mr. Young -s car waa smashed' beyond repair and Mr. Laredo was jammed in the front seat.
