Work Done on Scheme To date a total of 93,948 cubio yards of xnaterial have been handled in the making of both the north and south banks of the Ngaruroro rivet and a total of £21,885 has been expended on the scheme. At yesterday' s meeting of the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board, the engineer, Mr G. Rochfort, iu reportiiig upon the progress during the past month, stated that 90 men and 22 teams liad been employed on the work.
