Social Evening in Waipukurau

W AIP.UKURAU, Last Night. On Friday evening last th© Home and School League held their usual monthly social, when there was a fair attendance, both in the card room and the dance hall. Mr G. Hall was in cha?ge of the dance hall and Mrs Lovatt supplied popular dance music. Extras were played by Messrs S. Bryce and Nicholson. Mr M. Robertson was in charge of the card room, seven tables being occupied. The winners were : Ladies, Mrs T- Hutchison 1,- Mrs Davies 2- Gentlemen, Mr Burfield 1, Mr Raynor 2. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of tho Home and School League Committee.
