The Hawke's Bay Little Theatre Society is staging a one-aet play evening at the Oddfellows' Hall on Wednesday at 8 p.m. A women 's Gospel meeting is being held on Thursday aftemoon in the Nelson street hall. " The Pakowhai Maniature Rifle Club will hold a dance in the Pakowhai Ilall on Thursday at 8 p.m. The Hawke's Bay Generai Labourers' TJnion will hold a generai meeting in the Labour Party's Tooms, Railway road, Hastifigs, to-iuorrow at 7.30 p m. A dance in aid of the Whakatu anrl Tomoana combined queen ccndidates is to be held in the Clive Hall to-morrow. At the Ongaonga saleyards on Friday, Williams and Kettle, Ltd., are selling the annual draft of cattle from Mr. A. J. Inglis,' Ongaonga. The Hawke's Bay Hunt Club will hold its committee meeting on Wednesday instead of Friday. The liounds nieet at The Ivennels on Wednesday and at Tikokino on Friday. A dance is to be held by the Hastings High School Old Girls' Basketball Club in the Friendly Society 's Hall, Hastings, at 8.1, 5 p.m. to niorrnw. The Central nawke'a Eay Aero Clah ball will be held in the Municipal Theatre, Waipukurau, on Thursday. Twentv free admission leaflcts will be dropped from an aeroplane qvcr Waipukurau to-morrow.
