CROQUET CLUB CLOSING AFTERNOON

The members of the Havelock North Croquet Club held their closing day on Saturday and' the afternoon was spent in competitions, the results being as follow : One-ball breakj Mrs Powrie ; two-ball break, Mrs Anderson ; golf croquet, Mrs H'eenan : angles, Mrs Wilson ; to-and-fro, Mrs Brooks. The prizes were presented by Mrs Wilson, the president, as also were the tropliies for the. club competitions. The winners were : — merry-go-round B. Mrs Fergussoii ; merry-go-round C, Mrs Kitchie; silver hutton B, Mrs Fergusson; silver hutton C, IMrs Ross. •
