ANNUAL DANCE OF AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB

The eleventh annual dance of the Havelock North Amateur Athletic Club, which was held in the Town Board Hall on Tuesday evening, proved most successful and a large number of dancers spent a very jolly evening. An 6xcellent programme of, dance musie was played by Les Henry's orchestra and several novelty dances were enjoyed, among them being a Monte Carlo dance, spsot waltz, spotlight and streamer dances. The waltzing competition was won by Miss Lissette and Mr. H. Lisette, of Hamilton, A delicious supper was arranged by the ladies' committee who were; Mesdames May and Dulte and Misses Ada Fergusson and Margaret May. The men's eommittee wei'e Messrs. C. TJ. Pankhurst, H. Bennett, J. M. de Montalk, C. J. Crawford, R. Tapper, H. Honeybun, L. H. Meads, C. Anderson, J. M. Joll and E. Riley. Mr. L. H. Meads made an efficient M.C. . . ^
