SPEEDY SALVAGE
Sunken Battleship Raised SCUTTLED AT SCAPA (Beceived 30, 2.0 p.m.) LONDON, April 28. The German 25,000 tons battleship Friedrieh der Grosse, which was scuttled, was raised from a depth of 23 fathoms by Metal Industries Ltd. The barnacle-covered wTeck, which lay on the sea-bottom, keel uppermost, rose to the surface in thirty seconds by means of compressed alr.
