(Eecexved 30, 1.0 p.m.) BEBLIN, April 29. A concerted Press attack on the Catholic Church is interpreted as meaning a renewal of the campaign against the church. Inflammatory headlines, for example the Vollrischer Beobaehter 's "Churches and Monasteries Debased to HaUntS of Depravity" introduce stories announcing that over a thousand priests or members of Catholic orders are in prison awaxting trial on charges of immorality. The newspapers add: "It is not a question of individual cases but tbe whole system is corrupt. "
