TIMARU, This Day. At the Magistrate's Court, Lionel Francis GrimstOne, formerly town clerk of Geraldine, appeared before Mr H« Morgan, S.M., charged With havittg stolen the sum of £206 19/10, the property of the council. After hearing the evidence of Adam S. Hamilton, Government audit inspector, and Detective Thomas, accused pleaded guilty and was remanded to the Supreme Cour,t for seneince.
