PRESS ASSOCIATION
New Manager Appointed The directors of tho United Press Association in Wellington to-day deeided to appoint Mr T. M. Hinkley, at present manager of tho Sydney branch, to the position of manager at the head office in New Zealand. Mr A. E. Cameron, of the head office, was appointed to succee.d Mr Hinkley in Sydney. — P.A. Mr Hinkley, who was educated at the Otago Boys' High School, Dunedin, joined the staff of the Press . Assooiation at Wellington in 1924, aifd was its representative. in the Parliamentary Press Gallery from 1929 till 1934, when he was appointed to the managership of the association 's Sydney branch. Mr Hinkley recently married MissMargot Russell, formerly of Wellington and Auckland. Mr Cameron, who was educated at fche Otago Boys' High School, joined the Press Association in 1920. In 1924 he was transferred to. the Sydney branch, where he xemained till 192S. He rejoined the Press Association at Wellington in 1934.
