Invitation To^ German Celebrations LONDON, April 28. Oxford University has witbdrawn its acceptance of an invitation to the Got tingen University bicentenary celebra tions This follows the recent decision oi the British University vice-chancellors who adopted the same attitude of abstention from Heidleberg last year on their reluctanee to assoeiate with a university where learning was snbjected to politica] purposes and professors dis missed on political grounds.
