Catholics Convicted Of Treason H0ST1LE PRESIDENT (Eeceived 29, 10.90 a'.m.) BERLiN, April 28. Four Roman Catholics were convicted of treason. Father Rossaint, of Dusseldorf, was sentenced to 11 years, and others tt lessei terms. The remaining three were acquitted. It was. a farcical trial, with ihe decision a foregone conclusion, the president being hostile throughout. The president, summing up, said: "The welfare of the people is supreme law. Anyone who dares to touch the outward form of the community of the German pbopie is guilty of th» worst crime."
