Miss Deborah Deeds — Valeri© Lewis. Mrs Penelope Jones — Mavis" Tonkin. Misa Susan Marvel — Allison Douglas. JVliss Letitia Marvfel — Beverley HanUah. Misa Bosemary Marvel — Nancy fitarvey. - Miss Elizabeth Marcei — Joyce Annan. Jane Richards — Eileen Willis. Set in mid-VictoTian times, tliis play included in its caSt three young players wlio gave a very falr renderitig of their respective parts. The exaggerated tone bf altftost all feinarks in the piece was in keepifag With the settilig, and the dialogue bright and well dorie. The work of Valerie Lewis in her part was really good, while the other performers were all capable. Tbe Parlourmaid^-Kathleen Price, The Horisemaid— Betty Renouf, The Dsefui Alaid-'-Joan Bwansegefi Odd Afnn — Spencer Triggs, Proving the mere popular of the two, this piece was & farce, based upori the attChipts of a iriodern .wife to help her hoUse servants to intellectual training, throtighi the theatfe. The uriexpected mantter in WhiCh her idea Was receiVed provided an amusirig story. The cast was Well balanced. perfotmibg the eomparatively simple acting in an able manner. Two sketches were also performed, uAlphabetical Conversations" being played by Gwen Wood and Hale Spencer and the second, "Scoop/5 by Jenner Cunningham and Ulric Williams. Both Were well received, althogh the former, which had beeri hastily prepared, lacked the finish brought about f-y careful rehearsal. ? • ....
