PANTRY TEA FOR HASTINGS BRIDE-TO-BE

On Saturday afternoon Mrs W. Burnett gave a very pleasant pantry tea at her home in Park road, in honour of Miss D. Anderson, whose marriage takes plaoe shortly. Th^ drawing-room where the guests were entertained was beautifully decorated with autumn berries. Just before afternoon tea the guest of honour was called upon to open her parcels which disclosed a wonderful assortment for the pantry. ? • Miss Anderson thanked everyone for their gSfts, and afterwards a delicioua afternoon tea was served. Various competitions were held, the winners being Miss D. Anderson, Misa Lassen, Miss Kitching, Mrs Nicol and Miss Griffiths.
