Mr F. W. Smitfi, Napier5 is speiiding a few days in Dannevirke. Miss K. M. Tierney, postmistress at Dngaonga, has been appointed assistant in the Dannevirke Post Office. Mr O. A. Sharpe, of tlie Dannevirke Post OlSce, has been transferred to Taihape. Miss A. M. Webb, postmistress and Scoutmistress ' at Ormondville, underwenta successful operation on Wednesday in the Wellington hospital, and is progressing as well as possible in ihe • circumstauces.
