A report has come through that on March 20, Mel Walker, a • negro attending Ohio State University, jumped 6ft.. 93in. in the high jump indoors. This equalled the world's record set by Cornelius Johnson arid Dabe Albritton, alsd Americaii negroes, last July. Walker has shown great improvement of iate in the high jurap.
