GIFT PARTY FOR MISS PHYLLIS COX
Prior to her marriage to Mr. Gordon Gray, of Waipawa, Miss Phyllis Cox was the guest of honour at a gift afternoon given at the Some of Mrs. A. Carter, Hastings street, Hastings. A. very jolly afternoon was spent by ' all the guests and the competitions were won hy Miss F. Moore ahd Mrs. Stevenson. During the afternoon Miss Cox opened her numerous * parcels and later thanked everyone for their gifts. Mrs. A. Carter wore a gown of black floral crepe de chine and the guest of honour wore an angora suit m crusUed strawberry shade. Those present were Mesdames S. L. Cox, J. Cox, E. Seorgie, C. Charles, C. Henderson^ W. N. Scoft, W. Poll, R. Menzies, A. Stevenson, Plummer, L. Drown, A. Farmery and the Misses N". Carter, E. Carter, B. King, A. Sartori, F. Moore, J. Price and D. Menzies.
