RIGGIR—GIBBS

The wedding was quietly solemnised at tlie Methodist Ghurch, Hastings, yesterday ' afternoon of Iris Alice, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs F. J.' Her embroidered tulle veil which had been lent by a friend was arranged . with a double coronet of orange blossom and pleated stiffened net and she carried a shower of pink and white flowers and maidenhair fern.

The bride's only sister, Miss Tbelma Gibbs, was the bridesmaid and wore a gown of primrose cloque with slightly trained skirt cut on the cross. Gibbs wore a frock of navy afghalaine with a vest of palest pink and her navy three-quarter coat h^d wide bands of fur trimming the cape sleeves and neck. She wore a navy hat with pink quill and carried a boupuet of pink roses. Mrs D. J. Eigger wore a navy tailored costume with a mulberry shaded hat and she caried a boupuet of autumn shaded flowers and fern. Tbe bride's grandmOtlier. wore a frock of black wool crepe' de chene, tbe cape and bodice being trimmed with bnife pleating. Her black hat was trimtned with ;a white kuill and' she carried a posy of red rosebuds. When the birde and bridegroom left for their honeyinoon, which is to be a caravan tour of the Nortli Island, tbe bride travelled in a tunic suit of royal blue tweed checked with navy and cut on the cross, and- navy hat, shoes, gloves and handbag. •
