MRS. A. L CAMPBELL
A very widespread feeling of regret, coupled witfi deep sympatfiy for tfiosa bereaved, will be Jelt at the death at tfie Napier Hospital,* on Friday last, of Mrs Annie Lang Campbell, Wife of Mr J. D- Campbell, of Napier. The late Mrs Campbell was born in Scotland, but came to New Zealand witfi her parents at an early' age. For a few years after her marriage shq resided in Palmerston North, but came' to Napier with her fiusband some 26 years ago. For the greater part of that time, however, Bhe had suffered from a very painful illness, patiently and courageously borne. Despite her* physical weakness she was of bxight and cheery nature, and took a very, great interest' in the affairs of the Congregational Church, of which she and her husband were members,, both here and in Palmerston North. Helpful and inspiring, she was a lesson to many, and she gained the esteem of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves a husband, one son, Mr lan Campbqll, and a daughter, Miss Meta Campbell, to whom, in their bereayement, the sympathy of all- will be ektended.
