The disappearance of one of the officers of the Hororata, on her voyage between Napier and Tokemaru Bay, caused soMe excit'ement on the arrival bf the liner at tbe eoastal port yesterday. The seventh engineer, William Haggett, aged 22, was last seen when the vessel passed Oape Kidnappers onThursday night. When called to go on his wateh, however, at midnight, there was no response, and despite an ekliaustiVe searCh be could not be found anywhere on .tbe esteamer. On tbe arrival of the Hororata at Tokomaru Bay yesterday the Matter was reported to tbe police.
