In a story dramatising the lives of tlie girl attendants who ride .trans-continental airliners, the actresS does a 5,000 • foot parachute jump to prove that she has the ceurage required of an air hostess. She lands the job and with it begins as thrilling a set of experiences as any girl will ever want to encounter, For the most part the picture centres around the tomance .between her and the ace pilot, who falls in love with her, but who bitterly opposes hostessps on the airliners William Cargan, cast in the lead role of the. airline superintendent •makes a wdrthy Yival for William Hall jn the contest for the girl's hand. Unexpected developments centring around Eahdall bring the picture fo a gripping climax in which ,the flying hostess, the man she loves and 12 passongers are brought faee to faco with death. Hailed 'as one of the most novel atid most beautiful scenee . pictures ever filmed, ' ' Stormy, ' ' the spec-tacular Universal drama of the great. outdoors, is also showing. The screen version of the papular novel by Cherry -Wilson, ■' 1 Stormy ' ' was filmed in its entirety in the Painted Desert and other beautiful scenie locations in Arizona. This is the first time in many years, it is said, 'that an entire picture has been made on location, A terrific stampede of wild horses climaxes the story.
