AUSTRALIAN COMEDIAN TO STAR IN HOLLYWOOD
Cecil Kellaway, Australian stage favourite, has been offered an extensive contract to star in Hollywood films. He will leave in August for the United States. The order has come a few days after "It Isn't Done," the Cinesound film featuring Mr. Kellaway, was shown to the trade in Kew York. A South Afriean by birth, Cecil Kellaway, has been featured in Australia for 15 years in J. C. Williamson's stage productions. He is one of four talented brothers — Cecil, Jack, ILeon and Alec. Jack Kellaway 's wife, Sylvia, is also well-known to Australian audicnces. With his wife and his two sons, Cecil Kellaway will leave for Kew. Zealaud. in June for a two months' tour with the Gladys Moncrieff company, and then will sail for America. ' Other stars from the Cinesound Studio who attained front rank in Hollywood are Errol Flynn (who appeared in a Charles Chauvel production). Mona Barrie, and Jocelyn Howard (tiow known as Constance Worth).
