Hope to Eliminate Factional Strife j _ WELLINGTON, List Night. « i Considerable progress was made today at the national industrial labour ittnity conforence with a new constitution for a Dominion-wlde organisation rof unions. All national bodies which have hitherto spoken and voted for various sections and ' alliances within . the Labour movement will disappear, and a new unified authority, the«New Zealand Federation of Labour, will stand supreme. Local admiuistration will be conducted by district bodies, rCsponsible to the major organisation. The sponsors of the conference claim that its main objective has been achieved with the creation of the federation, which is expected to oliminate faction- • al sti-ife. The conference will continue to- ) morrow morning.
