TE POHUE DOG TRIALS
Further Results I Good ehtries were to hand for classes II and 11A at the annual trials of the Te Pohue Dog Trial Club, continued yesterday at Rukumoana in excellent weather. Results were as follow : — , Class 11, heading and bringing through flags, driving through on'e set of hurdles and yard.— W. YVhyte's Boy (57^ points) 1, W. Whyte's Boy VI (56) 2, Colonel Neilson's Cloud (51) 3, A. Lopdell's Swift (44 J) 4. Class 11A, for local maiden dogs.— - T. Hamlin's Lass (42) 1, N. McGregor' s Moss (38j) 2," H. McKinnon's Fan (38) 3, J. McCutcheon's Jock (37) 4. An energetic committee, with Mr H„ McKinnon as honorary secretary, has made this year's trials an outstanding success. Th© club's thanks are due to all those who assisted, including the judge; Mr A. -G. Stead, and those ladies who looked after the morning and afternoon tea arrangements. The trials will end this afternoon, and the club's annual dance takes placc to-night in the Te Pohue Hall.
