Mr T. E. Trask, of Eltham, returned home yesterday- after spending a short holiday visit with Mr and Mrs Hugh H. G. Bennett, of Farm road. Waipukurau. Mr T. J. Barker has joiued the staff of the Public .Trust. Office at Waipukurau, on transfer from, Hamilton. Mr A. R. Egglestone, who has been on the clerical staff of the Waipawa railway station for the past eight years, has received notice of his transfer to Lower Hutt. During the time he has been in Waikawa, Mr Egglestone has been a conscientious and popular officer. He has taken a great interest in Friendly Society work and for some time has been a member' of the Waipawa Schodl Committee. The vacancy created by his transfer will be filled by Mr Baynes, of the booking office, Courtnay Place, Wellington. Mr Harold Tuohy, who was the victim of a painful accident at Woodville yesterday, necessitating tho amputation of his foot, was for some time on the staff of the Waipawa raiiway station.
