CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Excelient values ruled at the fourth ahd fihal Christchutch Wool s'ale to-day, when a typical end-of-season offering of 10,728 bales, mainly comprised of medium and ihferior wools, was dispoSed bf. I For choicest fine wools values were up to & penfiy a pbund better than at the third Christchurch sale a month ago, other classes of fine wool being firm to slightly. better. An advance of up to threepence a pound was recorded in crossbred prices with medium and ihferior types up to l£d a pbund better. Biiying was general ahd there was keen competition for the few super lots in the offering. Bradford and the Continent secured the bulk of the fine wool, with America active in crossbreds. Local mills took odd lines bf the best halfbreds. • Passings Were few ahd far between and little if any fieece wool went at under 15d. The top halfbred price and the top price for the sale was 24jd, paid fCrr f our bales. Corriedale a wool, of which there was very little offered, went Up to 23|d, thia price being paid for tops in the Double Hill clip. The second classings went at 22Jd and 22id and the best of this clip '3 pieces made 20d. The best crossbred price wais 20jd, paid for 23 bales.
