MUNICIPAL THEATRE
"D OTTE-LE-rE ATHRE BILL
Baeed on the successfnl London Btage farce, "Ohl Daddy," the pici^ro Which sereens at the Municipal to-night isi an -excellent. example of the power of clever direotion to develop, from the narrower confines of a stage presentation, a picturesque, kaleidoscopic confection presenting an infinitely more varied entertainment. An atmosphere of infectious gaiety is quickly, created by Leslie Heuson (Lord Pye) and Eobertson Hare (Ruperfc Boddy) who, as a screen team are an unqualifled success. "Thunder in the Night," the mystery melodtama which is the seeond feature at the Municipalj provides mental exercise for the keen followers of mystery talea and a pleateant revelation for the admirers of that likable and ■^rsatile etar, Edmund Lowe, who emerges in an entirely new type of characterisation in this picture. Cleverly written, directed and photographed, "Thunder in the Night" keeps its audiences at a high pitoh of suspense with its whirlwind seqnence of events in one of the fastest mysterv pictures brought to the screen.
